Happy Easter!

Last weekend was Easter. We were having a rough week to begin with but it was even tougher when Q started to throw up and with him puking and then Arnold feeling poorly it was a long weekend. However... by Sunday morning Q was back to his normal self and Arnold was down for the count. We had already cancelled Easter plans with the family. Once we had breakfast, did Q's gifts and some Easter gifts my mom and dad headed back to Sarnia. I had the kids rest up and then out they went to find what the Easter bunny had left them: Later that night we went for a walk to burn off some of that energy! We had some of Q's "cone cakes" that Nana had made. They were SO good. Peanut butter cake in a cone, with nutella pushed in the middle and peanut butter icing, chocolate sprinkles and gummies! FANTASTIC! Anyway here's the "best" pictures I could get of the boys: And we saw this on our walk. The boys want to do something like it next year at our house:

Hey everyone. Our life has been kinda like hell, at least to me, for the past week or so and I'm sorry I haven't been on to update but I promise I will be doing some more updating in the next little while. I've got some great pictures to get up soon and a birthday post. Can you believe that Quinton is a whole hand? Sometimes it's just a shock! Hopefully we can get our second easter better this weekend with less sicky people :)

Out like a ....?

Well March is in like a ?????? and out like a ???????????

Quinton's class talked about how March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb, or the other way around. They talked about it at the beginning of the month and said it came in like a Lamb. Then when the end of the month came most said a Lion was back!

Well Quinton informed me that they thought March was going out like a "lemur". When I asked what he ment he said different every day, like the stripes on the tail! Sometimes he just surprises me!

This morning confirmed it thought! It snowed!! Who would have guessed!! What fun! Not too bad, and just a dusting but it did!

I hope that where ever you are March was just as perfect for you as it was for us!

March Break is Over!

Well our March Break is over. This week we:

played outside
went for bike rides
went to the park
had ice cream at DQ
went rock climbing 2 times
went to the zoo
had a nap in the car
played on the Wii
played with legos
enjoyed more than 5 games of SORRY!
had chocolate cereal
drank chocolate milk
had pizza
played in the back yard on the swing set.

All in all we had a great time

Today everyone is nursing their colds we all have. And are having a PJ morning. Hopefully I can sew up Ambers PJ's soon and we will be ready to go!

I hope your March break was great!

Oh yeah!! And this week marks the first week that Arnold rode his bike to work this year! I love +15-+20C weather!

What a day!

You know it's a "good" day when you get alot accomplished!

My oldest stayed home from school today. He wasn't feeling 100% so we kept him home to make sure he didn't share anything at school and so that he is 100% for his birthday and for this coming weekend!

So not only have Kyler home I had my daycare boy Ian as well. My neighbour managed to bring Q home for me a lunch (thank you Brenda!!) So I had a full house. During the day I managed to:

*type up the minutes to a meeting for Above the Beach I was at on Sunday
*laundry
*start supper
*clean up the dinner table
*keep Kyler entertained at the couch
*potty training with Ian
*made plans for march break and the summer with my sister
*gave doula advice
*catch up on my emails/websites
*finish prepping
*sent out the minutes and a few other things
*reviewed websites that we work on
*made K's gifts for his class (all 27 people from his class and friends)
*pictures for each

I have this bad habit. And this incredible husband! See... when I want something I walk up to Arnold, put my arms around his waist and say "ummmma....". And he knows. He just knows! I'm always surprised how he catches on but I guess that's what happens when you have been together this long!

My "ummma" moments have been things like a doughnut from Tim's, a milkshake, and his favourite one to quote is "a score blizzard with an extra shot of caramel".

Last week I had the doughnut one. And this week I was craving twizzlers. I even planned on buying them when I went out to get groceries but I never did. So hubby bought me some on Monday night. Isn't he nice? He dropped me off at aqua fit, filled up the tank with gas, and brought me back the car. When I got in after aqua fit there was a full tank of gas and twizzlers on the seat beside me. I love that man.

Welcome March!

Can you believe a whole month went by and I didn't post alot? So sad!

Well I plan on making up for it soon. Things are crazy around here, as usual so I'm trying my hardest to be getting on here and blogging. I hope to have some photos and stories up soon!
