Back-To-School Gifts

Every year we give the boys back to school gifts. Well I guess this is the first year it was a "back" to school gift. Last year it was a "welcome" to school gift.

Last year they got some duplo! And they loved it. But since we have more duplo than we know what to do with they got something else:

K got a globe. A small one but he loves it! He saw this summer that Uncle Jack had one and we haven't heard the end of it since then. Especially since school has started and everyone has them on their shelves in the stores. Kyler has wanted it. When Arnold and I found this one we *knew* we could get it for K and it's just perfect in size.

Q's gift:

Was some threading games. He has to match the correct cord and correct colour to the animal and thread the string around it. Who would have guessed this would have provided about 2 hours of entertainment. Each child does one, hands it back I un-thread it and hand it to the next child. It's incredible! Next the are learning to tie bows so Kyler can get running shoes with laces.

And last they got a gift together. When I showed Arnold the gift he thought it was perfect.

It's like operation but with a car. The boys love it. My favourite photo has to be these ones showing what Q looks like when the car beeps the horn and the lights flash:
