Did you know it's May? It's the 5th month of the year. It's a great month. This month seems to bring a lot of things into our lives. So far our 'plans' are:
Today was National Scrapbooking Day! I had so much fun. I was at Lasting Impressions in Sarnia, Ontario and I had so much fun hanging out and scrapbooking again. Before Scrapbooking Kyler and I met up with Godmother Leah! Kyler is still telling us about the candy he got for being a good boy, and spending time with Leah as well.
Tomorrow we head home to Toronto. Arnold is doing sound at church in the evening at The WALL service. He loves doing it and it's the first Sunday of the month. So he will be gone for a bit but will have fun.
This coming week (May 3rd to 7th) is a bit of a change for us. The Community Centre Pool we go to is closed for renovations. They are going to be changing and upgrading some of the equipment and this means there is no pool activity for the week. This means no swim training for me and no swimming lessons for the boys.
The following weekend (May 8th to 9th) we hope to work on the back yard. We are crossing our fingers to have a nice weekend and spending a lot of time outside. If we don't get yard work done we will get some more things clean up and packed up in the house. We are going to head out to Home Depot because it's the kids craft days! Every second Saturday at 10am they have the kids group (the butterfly house was last month). This month it is called the "Picket Fence Planter". I'm excited to have 2!!
The week after (May 10th to 14th) we are back into swimming. It's our last week for swimming lessons. At least for this first time in swimming. We have already registered for the next session.
That weekend (May 15th to 16th) we were expecting to have Arnold's parents to come and visit but we found out on Thursday or Friday that they aren't coming anymore. Instead it's another working on the yard weekend, maybe the Toronto Islands!
The next week (May 17th to 21st) the kids start their new swimming lessons. We have taken over the class and only my 2 boys and another friends 2 boys will be in the class together. I'm excited for it.
The long weekend is next (May 22nd to 24th). Arnold has the Monday off and my parents are coming down to visit. We are going to try and get some fun outside stuff done (like sanding and painting the chairs and table, and finish lawn work) and then go to the Toronto Islands. We are also hoping to go out for our 6 year anniversary that weekend.
The last week in May (25th to 28th) will be our first 'normal' week, aside from the short week. It will be nice to get some normal parts back in our May!
The last weekend rounds out our May month. It will be a long but fun one. I'm aiming for some recovery time this last weekend.
