Balloon Fun

There was a huge accident just the next road over from our house. It was around midnight or so and it woke up Q who came to snuggle with us in bed. When we dropped Kyler off in the morning they were still working on it trying to get the road cleaned up, power back on and getting the accident figured out.

Once Q and I were walking back to school they were almost done, and beginning to let the TTC cars down the road but it was craziness. We stood at the corner and watched the police for a bit and then began walking to the front door to wait for Kyler to come out. On our way up we saw a balloon. Q went running after it. You should have seen him in the snowsuit running in snow to try and get the balloon. He did at one point but the wind was so bad it knocked him over AND it knocked the balloon out of his hands. It then went blowing around the corner and the moms and I got worried it was going to fly off onto to the road so I kept saying no! I went to make sure he wouldn't go after it but the way the the building was and the wind had not been blowing there it was standing still. I picked it up and brought it back to the front door and looked for string but I didn't have any in my pocket. Instead I found our keys on our hook and I put those on the balloon and it worked perfectly.

We brought our stray balloon home and the boys had a blast. It kept them busy for quite some time! Enjoy the photos of Q playing with his balloon while Kyler was still napping:
