New Food #30!! ~ Taco Chili

This again, was a May menu plan but still GREAT. Even Arnold ate it and he isn't a big fan of beans... I think I'm changing his ways! See more "new food" to see why!

Taco Chili
Prep 20 minutes
Cook 4 hours (low) or 2 hours (high)
Needed Slow Cooker

1 pound of lean ground beef
2 15oz cans seasoned tomato sauce with diced tomatoes
1 15oz can of chili beans with chili gravy
1 15oz can of hominy or whole kernel corn, undrained
1 1.25oz envelope taco seasoning mix
Sour cream (optional)
Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

1 - In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off fat.

2 - In slow cooker combine the meat, tomato sauce, beans with chili gravy, undrained hominy or corn, and taco seasoning mix.

3 - Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 4 to 6 hours or on high heat for 2 to 3 hours. If desired, top each serving with sour cream and cheddar cheese. Makes 8 cups.

I did just what it said! INCREDIBLE! We all had seconds and thirds!!
