Proudest Daddy E-V-E-R!

Today has been some good moments for our children. Aside from walking away from some kids at the playground who called Kyler "stupid" and tried to punch him we had an incredible day!

This morning (after getting the trailer ready for our camping trip in 5 days!!!) we went to the dollar store. Ever since our garage sale in the beginning of this month Q has been asking that we take him to the store to buy new toys, as this was the reason we were selling the toys (to buy him new ones).

We went there with the intention of Kyler buying a hula hoop (sp) and Quinton getting his artifact (thanks to Magic School Bus) of hoops and arrows! We walked out of there with glow sticks(for camping), bracelets to ward off bugs, a set of cutlery (since we can't find our camping set anymore), hair clips, new light for the stove, some rope for the camping trip, and a few other things. However the boys toys were not what they wanted.

Our little men wanted bows and arrows. This is something Arnold and I had talked about buying Kyler for Christmas this year (and we may still) and he is 5 and we thought he would be old enough for the 'real' kind.

Instead we got cute (don't tell the boys I said that) little ones that are suction cup arrows.

Here is Daddy teaching them all about it:

they are cute hey? And currently, in the rain under the umbrella, the boys are out there having a blast! I guess I should be working right?
