For Christmas the boys got a puppet theater and puppets. We got our very first puppet show on the 27th.

New Year, New Plan, New Fun!

Last Year I followed David Ramsey's plan for how to make your new plans for the new year. This year I'm changing it up a bit. I'm following what he suggests but doing it every month instead. So Jan's plans are as follows:

Jan:
Career - make a decision about my Doula'ing. Contact CAPPA and DONA re: labour doula/PP doula work
Financial - Stick to our budget, even if it kills us
Physical - plan out my meals (ie breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, supper) so I don't stand in front of a fridge with no idea what is going on and eat like crap
Intellectual - Read a book about something I'm not totally 'interested' in.
Spiritual - Keep up with my Ladies Devos book and DVD's
Family goals - Eat dinner at the table 3 to 4 nights of the week

I'll let you know what happens at the end of the month!

Happy New Year!!

Merry Christmas ~ Sunday ~ Boxing Day

On Boxing Day we all played with our litle toys. Kyler played with his helicopter until it broke, when Papa fixed it. Quinton played with his robot. And Nana she played with her new lens for the camera.

The boys were up at 6am. It was crazy. Arnold, the boys and I got up and started opening the stockings. Then Nana got up and had fun. She sent the kids upstairs and Quinton said "No, It's scary!". He didn't want to go and wake anyone up!

After a while our family showed up. We had cinnamon buns, and fruit salad. It was great. Then we did gifts.

Everyone headed home and a few hours later we had more people over for our big dinner.

The boys enjoyed their time playing with Uncle Jack on the N64 again. Nana even joined in!
